Warren Langford, PhD, M Div, Th M

“My name is Warren and I’m a polymath, with the sense to laugh at myself when I say that.”

I am a dad, artist, teacher, minister, and scholar, who loves a good cup of green tea, Byzantine Greek Manuscripts, and the smell of wood (the lumber section of Lowes is like church to me). I live among the rice field and crawfish ponds of South Louisiana with my daughter. I have a PhD in New Testament Greek and wear multiple hats and have a variety of jobs – Artist, Pastor, Adjunct Professor. Whatever I do I want it to be creative (if possible).

I love the rural landscape and people of south La, just as much as I like the diverse wilderness of a big city. No matter where I find myself I want who I am and what I am doing to be a conscious choice to live life fully.  The one lesson my students leave with is my mantra, “Expand your world!”. This mindset is why I believe I make a good artist and pastor. I want people to experience a world that is bigger than the one they inhabit.
